Gene C. Reid Park

Gene C. Reid Park is a 131-acre urban park in central Tucson, Arizona.〔(【引用サイトリンク】website=VisitTucson.org )〕 The park opened in 1925 as Randolph Park.
==History==
In 1925 Willis Barnum and his wife paid $14,896 for a 480-acre parcel of land to create a city park in Tucson, deeding it to the city on a long-term purchase agreement.〔 The park was originally named Randolph Park for the prominent Tucson citizen Epes Randolph who had died in 1921. The park was later renamed Gene C. Reid Park after the City of Tucson’s first parks director. The park recreation center, an outdoor pool, and the northern golf course remain named after Randolph.
